Source frame rate and output FPS are different decisions.
The source tells you what was decoded. The output rate tells Chrona how often to place frames in the exported sequence.

Original mode keeps the source's decoded frame timing. This is the right choice when you need a complete frame record or want to study motion exactly as the file presents it.
Fixed output FPS
A fixed rate creates a predictable cadence. If it is lower than the source, Chrona skips decoded frames. If it is higher, Chrona duplicates decoded frames. No synthetic in-between frames are generated.
Fractional rates matter
Rates such as 24000/1001, 30000/1001, and 60000/1001 are common in real video. Preserving the rational rate avoids small timestamp drift that can compound in a long sequence.
